Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at andywalker246@hotmail.co.uk if you cannot find an answer to your question.

well, apart from the obvious massive cosmetic improvement that it will make, it will also greatly improve your roofs ability to shed water, your gutters will no longer be blocked & overflowing with roof moss & you wont have the annoyance of moss falling onto your driveway, paths & patio.

every roof is different, there are many variations such as age & tile material, we can only decide the best way to clean it by seeing it & assesing the type of tile & level of moss\lichen contamination.. some roofs require low pressure hot water cleaning ( also known widely as "steam cleaning") others may require the moss to be removed by scraping\brushing..

typically we access roofs by using aluminium scaffold towers, sometimes we may use a cherry picker or roof ladder...in any event we will use the safest possible method

usually a lot longer than our  customers expect! after removing the offending moss,  we treat the entire  roof with a biocide coating that kills any remaining moss & lichen spores, we have cleaned roofs that are still looking moss-free after four to five YEARS! please see our gallery, which we try to update regularly) we can also offer a maintenence plan.. please ask .

You will no doubt be pleased to know that we keep our prices below the national average , you dont need to just take our word for it,you can check it yourself  (LINK HERE ) we achieve this by investing the majority of our profits into quality, proven equipment & training to make the  whole cleaning process easier..as you know, every roof is different, & the work involved obviously varies hugely..we like to use a council house sized property  as an example of a typical 3 be semi detatched property, simply because most people will know how big this would typically be.. the house will have approximately 150 square metres of roof, the access is typically straightforward  & it will typically cost approximately £8 to£11 per square metre depending on the level of contamination to clean & treatwith biocide... if your property is bigger or smaller than a council house, we will obviously adjust the price accordingly, but you will always be paying less than the average..
